The Senior Adult Ministry, headed up by Pastor Roland Cavanaugh, is a unique ministry which brings added meaning and purpose to the lives of those within the Senior Adult population of the church. Lay leadership on the Senior Adult Leadership Team (SALT) is key in planning and coordinating various activities that include:
- Meaningful care groups that meet weekly.
- A senior adult choir known as Golden Tones for those with musical interest and gifts.
- Involvement in volunteerism in the church office, Thrift Shop, and in the on-campus nursing/assisted living facility.
- Coordinating and conducting multiple worship opportunities on the campus.
Volunteer Drivers Needed
The Senior Adult Ministries is looking for volunteer drivers for day and overnight trips. When your help is needed, you will be notified well in advance, as well as all of your expenses will be covered. A CDL license is required. If this is an area you would like to serve in, please contact the church office at 888-4523.
